The most event that I think I must take part to report it to all Malaysian Citizen. Last 3 days Butterworth Airbase has been busy received C17 and C5 Galaxy transported new generation F22 Raptor as a part of USAF assets in Eks Cope Taufan 2014.

Barnes Air National Guard base has begun deploying crews to Malaysia for a three week multinational exercise called COPE TAUFAN.

Senior Master Sgt. Robert Sabonis made the announcement Monday explaining that a number of F-15C/D aircraft along with over 100 members of the 104th Fighter Wing have been deploying to Malaysia since Saturday.

The exercise operations will join Massachusetts Air National Guard members with active duty F-22 Raptor aircraft and multinational TUDM Mig-29N and Su-30 MKM aircraft.

“The 104th Fighter Wing’s involvement in this exercise speaks volumes to the relevance of this unit in the global theater,” said Col James J. Keefe, Wing Commander.  “We were asked to participate in this exercise because of our proficiency with Advance Fighter Integration”.

During this exercise, American fighter aircraft will fly dissimilar aircraft training with Royal Malaysian Air Force MiG-29 and Su-30 aircraft.  “These exercises both build relationships with one of our strategic partners but also aids in developing tactics for F-15 and F-22 integration in the Pacific Theater of Operations,” adds Keefe.

This is the furthest west the 104th has traveled for a training exercise.

Well my opinion about the presense of F22 just want to tested our SU30MKM that has been battle proven in combat simulator with F15C on last Cope Taufan 2012. As we know our Su30MKM has been equipped with latest Jammer and Electronic Warfare that I think I not have right to share it with you guys. I hope Malaysia Pilot take this opportunity to challenge and test the capability F22. Hope we can sign Fighter F22 mark in our Su30MKM.
