New Weapon Malaysia Royal Police - CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 9mm 

Royal Malaysia Police has been acquired with new sub machine gun next generation from CZ Company from Czech Republic. The New CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 9mm caliber is the latest generation Scorpion Sub Machine gun as part new market from Eastern Europe.

The Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is highly accurate and brings a blistering rate of fire—over 1,100 rounds per minute. It’s a perfect choice for hostage rescue work,  special operations, and any engagement in tight spaces.

Chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, the Scorpion Evo 3 is a light weight, compact submachine gun designed to be easily maneuvered in constrained spaces. The A1 variant features a select fire switch, giving the operator the choice of semi-automatic, three-round burst, or fully automatic fire, while the S1's switch operates as a safety. The standard version comes equipped with a folding, adjustable and fully removable stock for easy transport. The hand guard is lined with multiple Picatinny Rails for the addition of attachments such as tactical handles, sights, flashlights and lasers.

Malaysian Police including by Malaysia VAT 69 Commando, Unit Tindakan Khas and Other Police branch has been tested and fired this weapon to ensure the quality is meet up and can be used any time any where in order to fight crime and terrorist threat especially on what happen in Mabul Island Incident last month.

Some information that has been confirmed that Police also allocated budget to buy a new generation rifle that using 7.62mm caliber as it required in Sabah Esscom priority due to many clash incident between Police and Sulu Terrorist and kidnappers.


I'm already tested this CZ Scorpion Evo A3 9mm caliber during DSA 2014 on April 2014. My comment as civilian, the purchasing of this weapon is worth and yes, it will replaced all MP5s that have been served so long in Malaysian Royal Police. Sometimes, we need to make a change due to new environment and current situation. At least our Government still has money to buy a weapon right...

  1. it will be great combination if malaysian army use cz s805. its better than m-4, we can safe our budget for maintenance,advisor,etc. but, as a humble civilian our opinion is useless..

  2. All true Amir. I met a Msian army Major in Oz and he ran down the AUG in favor of the M4. I merely told the guy M4s are cut-down M16s and a step backwards for us. He kept quiet after that.
